Review of Immersion Spanish School, May 26, 2011
I have been a student of Cecilia’s for 2 ½ months and have been thoroughly impressed with how well I have picked up Spanish over that time. I was one of those people who bought into the Rosetta Stone claims that has been going around for the past few years. I learned words well with that program but I was unable to construct sentences so it was not of much help to me when traveling to Latin America. Cecilia makes you work, no doubt about it, you will be pushed but in a way that get results if you work at it, although, when you need to slow down and focus on specific parts that are a struggle to you, then she is happy to do that and help you through the tougher parts of Spanish. Cecilia has great prices, I found nothing even close to her rate range and I am getting the type of results that make me tell everyone I can that is interested in learning Spanish “this is the teacher for you” she is funny and makes the classes light and entertaining with results at the end of each lesson that are notable. If YOU are in need or want of learning Spanish, please, at least give her a chance, you will be better for it.

Cecilia's online one-to-one lessons on Skype are the best and quickest way for a busy person to learn Spanish. She's thoroughly trained, long-experienced, completely bilingual (English and Spanish) plus her knowledge of her native language is extensive--she can, for example, immediately clear up questions of usage and pronounciation between Mexican Spanish and South American Spanish, or when a usage is formal compared to informal--information that's frequently omitted from general-purpose language books and recordings. To have Cecilia for your teacher on Skype is to virtually have her at your side, instructing you and coaching you all the way to fluency.

Cecilia is an invigorating take charge teacher that achieves results with her students. She is funny, makes us laugh, and we learn at the same time. She is patient, kind, and very supportive of our learning styles and abilities. Every lesson is definately a learning experience and progresses her students forward and moves the lesson along while having fun. She breaks down examples simple and to the point and I would recommend her highly to anybody else.
